This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how your data is processed within the Prayer Times: Adhan & Qibla (“Application”) mobile application, provided by Ibrahim Yasin Inan (“We”), in accordance with the GDPR (EU), KVKK (Turkey), and other applicable data protection laws.
By downloading or using the Application, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and processing of your data in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not access or use the Application.
We adopt a "Local-First" approach. We do not directly collect, store, or sell your personal data on our own servers. However, certain third-party services integrated into the Application may process limited data as described below.
The following data is processed exclusively on your device. We do not directly access or store this information on our own servers:
Used to calculate accurate prayer times and determine Qibla direction. This processing is necessary for the performance of the core functionality of the Application. Location data is processed in real time and stored only locally on your device.
Used to determine Qibla direction relative to your position. This data is processed in real time, is not stored, and is never transmitted.
Selections such as calculation methods and Madhab are processed strictly as technical parameters. This data remains on your device and is not used for profiling or tracking.
Your counts and progress are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted.
Data is synchronized with your Apple Watch using Apple’s system frameworks (e.g., WatchConnectivity). This process occurs locally within your encrypted device ecosystem and is subject to Apple’s privacy policies. No data is transmitted to our servers.
Prayer reminders and scheduling are handled via native operating system services (iOS/Android). These are system-managed local processes and do not involve external data transmission.
We use third-party SDKs to provide advertising, analytics, and application stability. These providers act as independent data controllers and may process data under their own privacy policies:
May process device identifiers (IDFA/GAID), IP address, and interaction data to deliver ads, prevent fraud, and measure performance. While we do not perform profiling ourselves, advertising providers may personalize ads according to their own policies.
May process pseudonymized usage data and crash logs to improve application performance and stability. Analytics features are activated based on user consent where required.
